Josh video tapes what he thinks is a diving whale off the Hawaiian island of Maui, but is actually the accidental sinking of a highly secret Soviet robot submarine. Josh shuddered, thinking what the boat’s propeller could do to them. “Dive!” he yelled, taking a deep breath. He brought his feet up high, cleared the surface, and started to force his head down in a fast tuck dive. As his face entered the water, Josh glimpsed a big searchlight from the sky striking the fishing boat. Underwater, Josh heard the churning of the boat’s propeller. We’re not deep enough! his mind screamed as he used all his strength to stroke down. Suddenly, the engine sound changed sharply. They’re turning away! Josh realized. But why?
