Bible 5 DVD with Books - The Fullness of Time

Bible 5: The Fullness of Time surveys the New Testament and covers basic Bible doctrines and how to apply them. Mrs. Pearson hopes to bring each student to a deeper understanding of the New Testament. She desires to teach her students the study skills they will need to interpret Bible passages so they can clearly understand a biblical worldview. Ultimately, she would like to help her students want to know God better by spending time with Him.

In each lesson, Mrs. Pearson will introduce the day’s topic, review memory verses, give time to read the passage for the day, and then ask and answer questions about the text, showing illustrations and working through the worktext pages.

An easily distracted boy reviews biblical concepts from the lessons and is always eager to show students his awesome Hawaiian shirt.

Two animated reporters give an overview of each new chapter. One excitable reporter finds it harder to handle the anticipation for new topics.

Students join a small gameshow to prepare for tests. They must answer quiz questions in five seconds or less!

Students should have their Bibles, a notebook, a pencil, and the assigned worktext pages ready for each lesson. It may be helpful for them to read the appropriate passages before they start the video, but Mrs. Pearson will tell them when to pause the video if they haven’t read it already. The first page of each chapter will have a HABIT handout, which they may need to reference in each lesson. Students will complete one worktext page and study for upcoming tests as needed.

Scheduling Information: 180 Days; lessons average 10 minutes long.

This is an elective which is not included in the Grade 5 Complete Kit.

The printed parent guides for Grade 5 and above include tests and quizzes and corresponding answer keys. Test packets sold with textbook kits are not compatible with tests used in video courses.
