LLATL Red Book Kit 3Ed - 2nd Grade Skills

Learning Language Arts Through Literature is a complete language arts program for this grade level.  Using an integrated approach to learning, students learn the skills appropriate for each grade level in the context of real literature.  This program includes all the language skills: reading, spelling, grammar, higher order thinking skills, and creative writing in an easy-to-use format.  It is written for a 36 week school year.

This LLATL Red Book Kit starts with a quick review of first grade phonics and continues to advanced phonics as well as grammar, and even handwriting. Read-aloud stories and "real books" provide a basis for important reading, creative writing, and higher order thinking skills. Spelling lessons include spelling lists, word puzzles, and spelling tips. Games, word-wheels, flipbooks, and MORE hands-on projects and activities are effective for ALL types of learners.

The 3rd Ed Red Box Kit includes

• Red Teacher Book,
• Red Student Activity Book, and
• 6 readers, each containing several stories.

This 3^rd Edition has been updated by replacing 3 of the included readers to offer more phonics practice, which affects 16 lessons. ** IT IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PREVIOUS EDITIONS. **
