Silver Chair, The - CD Study Guide

The Study Guide

We have sold Bible based literature study guides from Progeny Press for a number of years and have been very pleased with them. Progeny Press Study Guides are used in conjunction with age appropriate novels to explore literature from a sound Biblical perspective. These study guides deal with literature as works of art and philosophy, explain and use literary terms, and deal with plot construction. They dig into why the characters act, believe, and feel as they do and examine what the Bible says in similar circumstances. Easy-to-use lessons include vocabulary exercises, comprehension and analysis, critical thinking, questions on related Biblical principles, activities, plus a complete answer key.

Please Note: This is an interactive CD-ROM, which contains a full-version study guide in a PDF format.  It is PC & MAC compatible.  With interactive files, students now have the capability of entering their answers directly on the computer and saving their work in progress.  Parents can also grade the work on the computer, leaving comments and notes within the file.   You can also print as many copies as you like for your students.   Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view and print this file format. The Novel Summary:

On the run from bullies at their nasty school, Eustace and Jill Pole suddenly find an escape into Narnia, but they become separated. Jill meets Aslan, who tells her they have a task to accomplish and gives her four signs to memorize to help accomplish their task. When Jill is reunited with Eustace, they learn that King Caspian's son Prince Rilian has vanished, and they are to find him and return him to Narnia. With the help of a very gloomy Marsh-wiggle, they set out to find the prince, but they soon find themselves forgetting to repeat the four signs. And when they are captured and led away to a deep underground kingdom, it looks as if they may have failed completely at Aslan's task.
