Where I Belong by Rebecca Kenny is a historical fiction book set in Old Testament times.
Captured at six-years-old by a band of raiders, Miu is eventually sold to Abraham as a slave for his wife, Sarah. Miu soon learns that many in Abraham’s camp—including a young Egyptian woman, Hagar—worship an extraordinary God. Hagar insists that He is good. But does Abraham’s God have anything good to give to Miu, or is He interested only in taking things away? The theme of this Christian fiction book is that true freedom is in the place where one might least expect to find it.
