Math 5 Online with Books 4ED

Math 5 will instruct your child regarding adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions. Your student will also learn geometric concepts including lines, angles, surface area, and volume. Each lesson will begin with a brief review before exploring and applying new concepts. Students will then attempt problems on their own before reviewing them with the teacher.

Calvin Chaos - A series of animated special segments explaining how math is used in aviation.

Tom Fulery - A series of special segments introducing students to individual STEM projects.

Math Magician - A special segment series featuring Magnus the Math Magician who explains difficult math topics.

Destinations to Dream About - A series of chapter review games where the teacher will give intriguing clues to an exciting destination.

How should 5th-grade students prepare for Math 5?  Students should come prepared to practice problems with the teacher.

What will students need to do after each lesson:  Students should complete their assigned work.
