Owl Pellet Dissection Kit

Learn about owls and the little critters they eat with this owl pellet dissection.

This hands-on kit guides students through the dissection of an owl pellet.  In this kit students will receive a large owl pellet (1-1/2" or larger), dissection tools, instructions, an identification key, and a bone sorting chart for bone identification.

It will teach students about food chains and food webs through the examination of the indigestible parts of shrews, voles, and other critters.
