3A Workbook Dimensions - Singapore Math

Workbooks offer independent practice that follows a careful progression of exercise variation. Corresponding to textbook material, lessons begin with fundamentals and progresses to more challenging problems.  Every student will not necessarily complete every question. Students will work at their own pace, progressing through the following sections, in order:

• Basics - covers the main concepts of the lesson (and shows parents how these concepts were taught)
• Practice - offers further practice
• Challenge - these problems are optional and can be used as homework or in class, as time permits
• Check - gives students a chance to confirm their understanding.

Workbooks do not include answer keys. Answers are in the Home Instructor's Guides or the Teacher's Guides.

Publisher Recommendation:  Dimensions Math® 1A-5B textbooks and workbooks are suitable for both classroom and home settings. Student should use textbooks and workbooks together. The consumable workbooks provide additional practice for consolidation or homework, with room to work out the problems. This series should be used with teacher’s guides, which provide background information, concrete introductions to topics, and additional activities.
