Climbing Higher is the third reader for Gr. 2. It is full of stories that relate to everyday life for a child. The stories in all of the readers often teach lessons in virtues and uphold Christian values. Pathway readers are a delight to use. From an Amish publisher, they offer wholesome reading and great family stories. While simple in appearance, they are excellent material for a very economical price. The workbooks associated with each reader offer questions to answer, some phonics review, and a good vocabulary study. These can be used as a reading program, or just buy the readers to have some excellent reading material on hand.
