About Three Preschool Set (4 workbooks)

Book One - About Three - This beginner's activity book provides an introduction to and practice in motor skills such as hand-eye coordination and visual comparison of objects.  It also gives some primary exposure to number concepts.  Each page has simple instructions for the parent.  It is for children who are About Three years old.

Book Two - Bigger Steps - This activity book follows About Three.  Although slightly advanced, the exercises still focus on providing practice in basic motor skills and give some primary exposure to number concepts.  Each page has simple instructions that you need to read to your child.

Book Three - Color, Count, and Cut - This activity book follows Bigger Steps and provides exercises in the three arts that its title suggests.  The focus, however, is on coloring.  The large, simple pictures were chosen with the four-year-old in mind.  The activities in this book also help to reinforce the child's ability to distinguish the eight basic colors.

Book Four - Doing My Best - This activity book is designed for four or five-year-olds with slightly advanced exercises from those in Color, Count, and Cut.  A color code uses shapes to provide help with coloring.  Exercises such as tracing numbers 1 through 4, matching pictures, discerning out-of-place or missing items, and matching the front and back of items fill the pages.
